🧑🏼‍💻 The role:

As a Learning Facilitator for NXTLVL, you will be responsible for facilitating game-based online learning sessions for children aged between 8 and 14. Using NXTLVL's core principles and guidelines, you will help guide children through games designed to produce learning outcomes modelled upon our educational philsophy. You will also provide regular feedback to participants as well as their parents in both written and video form.
Strong communication skills, organisational ability and empathy are a must. We also highly value a positive mindset and a passion for educating the next generation!

Compensation: Starting at €50/ hour

Reporting to: Head of Facilitation

More info: Main languages that will be used is English. The position is part-time (2-12 hrs/week). You must have access to a computer, reliable internet connection, and a quiet space to work remotely.

Job requirements

🎯 What you‘ll do:

  • Facilitate cohorts of students, following NXTLVL core principles, learning philosophy and guidelines, in game-based online learning sessions.
  • Observe progress and provide within-session and post-session group and individual feedback to students and parents (including in written and video form).
  • Work together with a Technology Assistant (TA) to manage the online games within your sessions, using our tech tools and processes.
  • Take part in and lead student and/or parent workshops.
  • Take part in the NXTLVL training and continuous professional development programmes, as well as sustain your own reflective practice.
  • Play an integral part in our programme development by providing product improvement feedback based on your own experience and observations.

  • Excellent facilitation skills - knowledge and ability to empower learners to develop their thinking and future-critical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - personable and approachable and able to unpack complex concepts into simple notions.
  • Creativity and flexibility - able to think on your feet and hone in on the learning insights as they unfold in real time.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • A qualification degree in teaching or educational/school/child psychology is a plus.
  • Evidence of a passion for our mission and that your philosophy aligns with our principles, culture and learning experience.
  • Detailed-oriented observational skills - able to catch the golden moments and build on the opportunities that arise.
